The Melaka Straits Mosque is located in Malacca, Malaysia. Built in 2006, this grand structure was designed by renowned Malaysian architect Hijjas Kasturi. The building is a modern interpretation of classical Malay architecture and is constructed entirely of white marble. Its four-tiered roof is topped with a golden dome and a crescent moon. The main prayer hall can accommodate up to 2,500 worshippers and features intricate Islamic artwork. The mosque also features a library, a cafe, a museum, and a multi-purpose hall.
